All students enter school with different experiences. Once in school, students learn at different rates. Therefore, Crete-Monee School District 201-U believes that learning is best measured by examining learning data for growth over time. With that in mind, our district uses a local growth model to monitor student learning. After each assessment period, standardized test data is evaluated and local growth information is generated for the district, school, grade, classroom, and individual student levels. Growth is reported using four levels:

Growth information is used to plan instruction, evaluate programs, and guide school and district improvement efforts.
