CMHS STUDENT-ATHLETES COMMIT TO COLLEGE SPORTS
AT SIGNING DAY ON APRIL 25
Join us in congratulating Crete-Monee High School female student-athletes on their College Signing Day on Wednesday, April 25th! These young women were all smiles as the shared the exciting day with their classmates, family, friends and coaches! Patton, Interim Superintendent; Mrs. Marjorie Triche, CMHS Principal; Ms. Jennifer Hannagan, CMHS Asst. Principal, and Mrs. Lisa Haley-Miller, Asst. Principal. Three of the senior student-athletes from CMHS Girls Soccer (l-r) Sydney Kent, Kelly Rodriguez and Mariana Romo, will all be continuing their academic and athletic careers at Joliet Junior College. The other four student-athletes from CMHS Girls Basketball included Ceairra Smith (Iowa Central Community College), Arriyonn Phillips (Iowa Central Community College), Ariel Henry (MacMurray College), and Shamarre Hale (Wright State University). Way to go Lady Warriors! We are proud of you.
CMHS Girl Soccer All-Conference student-athletes Sydney Kent, Mariana Romo, and Kelly Rodriguez share a smile with their coach Kathy Seifert. Sydney will major in veterinary medicine and holds a 3.7 GPA. Mariana plans to pursue nursing and is also an honor roll student with a 3.2 GPA. Kelly is also an honor student and plans to major in architecture. She holds a 3.5 GPA. “I cannot express enough how proud I am of these three young ladies, for who they have become as students, as athletes, and as people,” said Coach Seifert.
