District honors CMHS Football’s first female kicker Grace Miller at this month’s board meeting

Warrior Girl Power:
CMHS junior Grace Miller (2nd from left) is joined by soccer/kicking coach, Ms. Kathy Siefert; varsity football coach, Mr. John Konecki; and members of the CMHS Varsity Football team at this week’s board meeting. Grace was honored during the Good News Report! section of the evening for recently setting a state record for the most points scored by a female in a high school football game. She is currently second in team scoring and was the first female high school player to score at Ross-Ade Stadium at Purdue University. Most importantly, Grace was acknowledged for being an outstanding student-athlete; she is ranked 13th in her junior class and carries a 4.125 GPA. Board members lauded Grace for being a great example to girls and athletes everywhere. Way to go, Grace!
