The Crete Monee Education Foundation operates as an IRS 501c3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to enhance and enrich the programs, activities, and facilities for the benefit of the students of Crete-Monee School District 201-U. The Wine & Cheese Event is the largest fundraiser the Education Foundation presents each year and draws members from all of the district’s surrounding communities. Proceeds from past events have been donated to the district’s summer enrichment drama program, extracurricular clubs and activities at Crete-Monee High School, and many other programs over the years.
