Returning Families
Those families that received a letter dated March 2014 concerning residency, will be required to schedule an appointment with the district registrar by calling (708) 367-8390. During this time, parents/guardians must provide updated residency information in the form of a current lease or mortgage along with a current utility bill.

Also, returning families that received a letter stating that they were not in compliance for student medical records must also schedule an appointment with the district registrar and provide updated medical records along with required registration documentation.

Returning Families that did not receive a letter concerning residency or medical records and have their registration packet (including residency verification card), must schedule an appointment to register at their child's school of attendance. Please be advised that it may be necessary to schedule multiple appointments if your children attend different district schools. Appointments will be held from 10 a.m. -  2 p.m., Monday-Friday.

National School Lunch Program/School Fee Waivers
Parents who wish to apply for free or reduced meals must visit the Department of Food Service located at the Sixth Grade Center (760 W. Exchange Street). Hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. The Food Service meal application process will take about 15 minutes. Please keep in mind that completing a school meal application is a completely separate process from applying for a school fee waiver.

Parents who wish to apply for school fee waivers must visit the Income Verification Department located at the District Administration Center (1500 Sangamon Street). Hours for income verification are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please be advised school fees will be assessed without proof of a fee waiver; therefore, it is necessary to complete the income verification process before your scheduled registration appointment. The school fee waiver process will take about 15 minutes. If you believe your family qualifies for a school fee waiver, please click here for important information.

New Student Testing

If you have a student entering Grades 3 through 11, and you are new to the district or your student was not enrolled in a district school for the 2013-14 school year, your student will be required to take a placement test. Please contact the Assessment Office at (708) 367-8345 to schedule an appointment for testing. Please click here for more information.

Bus Route Information
