100 day

CSK Kindergarten students celebrated the 100th day of school on Thursday, February 16. Students spent the day doing special activities that involved counting to 100. This day was fun and challenged the students to use their newly acquired mathematics skills.

Security Council

Our Security Council consists of fifth grade students. Security Council members are chosen by staff sponsors Mr. Mueller and Ms. Sopko with input from fourth grade teachers and Mr. Mane. Students are selected because each one of them has consistently demonstrated leadership, responsibility, and effort.

Our Security Council members not only act as role models for our students, they also perform many important jobs throughout the school day. Security Council members escort kindergarteners to their buses, help students and families cross the street at the crosswalk, wash lunch tables, collect lunch count, and greet our CSK family members as they arrive for school every morning.

To celebrate the accomplishments of our Security Council, our CSK PTO sponsors an annual Security Council field trip. Mr. Mueller and Ms. Sopko are planning a fun and exciting new trip for Security Council members this year. This trip takes place on a school day during the month of May.

If you have any questions about Security Council, please contact Mr. Mueller or Ms. Sopko.
