It is impossible to show our principals just how much they are appreciated and how much they inspire all of us each and every day.

MEC staff organized a suprise lunch for Mr. Wortel and Ms. Pappas as a very small token of our appreciation.  We also wrote words of  appreciation on the whiteboard for them to read.

They do an amazing job every day and they ARE very appreciated by both staff and students.

In August 2013, Public Act 098-0305 took effect.  This act requires the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) to be given a CPR training video to post on its website for viewing by IHSA-member schools.  The act also indicates school districts shall notify parents and encourage them to view the video as well.
