Crete-Monee High School is a comprehensive four-year high school that includes students from the villages of Crete, Monee, University Park, and Park Forest. The state-of-the-art high school building is located next to the former high school building just 30 minutes south of Chicago near the Indiana border in a dynamic, largely professional, south suburban community.
The 2007 opening of the facility furthered the community’s dedication of investing in the future of our students and their commitment to develop world-class learners. This award-winning 320,000 sq. ft. facility features a state-of-the-art 600-seat performing arts center, field house, and classrooms filled with the most up-to-date components in educational technology. Crete-Monee High School boasts an award-winning choral music program, regionally recognized drama program, and a variety of highly competitive sports and activities from which students can participate. Students may join 21 athletic teams divided into fall, winter and spring sports and 21 year-round clubs ranging from Scholastic Bowl to Technical Theater Club and Chess Club to Color Guard.
