Community Procedures and Guidelines for eFlyer Approval
IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM PEACHJAR - EFFECTIVE SEPT 1, 2017
Community Free (Free-for-Free) eFlyer Distribution
Peachjar will begin limiting Community Free (Free-for-Free) flyer distribution to one posting every 30 days for up to 25 schools per organization. Exceptions are available for school groups such as Booster Clubs, Education Foundations and others on a case-by-case basis. Please note, local community organizations can continue to promote all of their free programs within any 30-day time period by using multi-page flyers.
Peachjar's Community Free (Free-for-Free) program was created to allow local community organizations that are offering free programs with no encouragement for future fees or paid services, to distribute their digital flyers to their surrounding schools at no cost. Without a mechanism to actually limit these accounts, we found that some were distributing to areas far outside their reach, resulting in flyers that didn't pertain to the parents who were receiving them. We expect this update will elevate the quality of flyers your community receives.
District 201U often receives requests from various organizations to distribute information materials to our students and families. Peachjar will deliver this information electronically and provide users with a place to access information that has been submitted from parent groups, non-profit organizations, intergovernmental agencies, service organizations, and business partners for distribution and information consumption.
Community Groups and Outside Organization Distribution
CM201-U does not distribute flyers over any breaks (Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring, and Summer).
Please allow up to 48 hours for the district/school office to approve or deny your flyer for distribution.
All requests to distribute information must be approved by the selected school(s) or district office. Organizations that wish to distribute information must first register with Peachjar as an “Enrichment or Community Organization” and upload your flyer for distribution to your desired school(s). To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted online.
Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.
www.peachjar.com Register as an Enrichment / Community Org. (account type).
Upload your flyer for approval.
Your flyer will be automatically submitted to the selected school(s) or district office. Designated staff will review the material and approve or deny based on the
standards below. Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school.
Peachjar’s service fee will be waived in Crete-Monee School District when a local community organization is promoting a free event that does not entice participants to join a fee-based program, or purchase products or services.
Instructions for Schools
Individual schools may post flyers for their site that promote information and events related to:
Parent-Teacher Organizations (PTOs),
