State Convention

The 4th grade scholars will hold their annual State Convention on Thursday, May 23, at 2:00 P.M. Parents are invited to attend and view the projects. The scholars have been researching their states and creating floats and trifolds to highlight them.

Early Release

Friday, May 24th, is an Early Release Day. Breakfast will not be served but lunch will be served. Balmoral will dismiss at 1:15 P.M. Monday, May 27th, is Memorial Day. There is no school. Please enjoy your Memorial Day weekend! School resumes on Tuesday.

Awards Assemblies

The Recognition Assemblies for scholars are as follows: 1-2 on Wednesday, May 29th and 3-4 scholars on Thursday, May 30th. Both assemblies will begin at 10:00 A.M. Parents and guardians are invited to attend. Fifth graders will be recognized on May 28th.

Speech and Hearing Month

May is Better Speech and Hearing Month. This provides opportunities to raise awareness about communication disorders and to promote treatment that can improve the quality of life for those who experience problems with speaking, understanding, or hearing.

Last Days of School

The last day for district schools (except ELC) will be Tuesday, June 4, 2013. The following will be Early Release Days for K-12 schools: May 31, June 3, and June 4. There will be no breakfast or lunch served on Early Dismissal/Early Release days.

Senior Trip

The Senior Trip will be to Dave and Busters in Addison on May 21st. The cost of the trip is $35 which includes game time and a Fajita Buffet lunch. Permission slip and money must be turned into the Warrior Store no later than May 10th!!

CM201-U announces its Summer Enrichment Drama Workshop!

No matter what age or level of experience, this camp offers children an affordable opportunity to explore the wonders of the theatrical experience! The camp begins June 4th and culminates in a full-scale production of The Little Mermaid!

2013-2014 School Calendar

The first day of school will be August 20, 2013 and the last day of school is scheduled for May 30, 2014 barring the use of any snow days. Please take the time to review this calendar and the important days scheduled throughout the school year.

The ELC would like to say goodbye to Mr. Kovacevich! He has worked at the ELC for 10 years, and we appreciate everything he has done for our program. He truly will be missed by the students, staff, and families within the Crete Monee school district.

Information from Food Service!

Beginning April 29th, students will only be allowed to debit from their Food Service account if it has a positive balance. This does not apply to students receiving free lunch. Please see the letter from Food Service for more information.
